The Manor Learning and Conference Centre (MLCC) is an excellent venue for your event. We offer bespoke packages in our adaptable facilities which can accommodate groups large or small, with an array of modern and versatile training and seminar rooms. The MLCC is a purpose-built training and conference facility. Each room is equipped with the most up-to-date audio-visual technology which is compatible with most modern devices.
Standard Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00

Half Day AM: 08:00 – 12:30

Half Day PM: 12:30 – 17:00

 Out of Hours:

Weekday evening: 17:00 – 20:00

Weekends: 08:00 – 18:00

Catering can be provided by our onsite provider, which offer an extensive range of catering options, available upon request.

Our Facilities

The MLCC has 12 training rooms in a range of sizes to accommodate all training needs. These rooms include:

  • The Sister Dora Lecture Theatre (named in honour of a local nursing heroine) is equipped with a state-of-the-art conferencing system including:
    • Two way audio and video conferencing equipment
    • One way video, two way audio links to all the operating theatres in the hospital
    • User friendly control panels, controlling presentation screen, camera’s and lighting
  • The Lecture Suite, which is identically equipped and can be linked to the Sister Dora Lecture Theatre for larger events.
  • Open plan area for sponsors and networking
  • Seated buffet area for catering
  • IT Suite with 8 PC stations
  • 2 Clinical Skills Labs
  • 3 Smaller Rooms
  • 3 Medium Sized Rooms

    Larger Rooms

    Sister Dora Lecture Theatre

    Sister Dora Lecture Theatre was recently updated with new, modern video conferencing equipment which can also link to our Lecture Suite (Room 12 and 13) for larger conferences.

    The concourse is a fantastic space for networking whilst having a refreshment break.
    This area is ideal for any reps to display their stands when sponsoring an event within the
    centre. There is also a seated area to sit down and enjoy our range of catering, which is available upon request.

    A
    Rooms 12 and 13 are rooms which can be combined into a bigger lecture suite. Room 13was also recently updated along with the lecture theatre with new state of the art videoconferencing equipment.

    Medium Size Rooms

    Rooms 9, 10 & 11

    Room 9, 10 and 11 are our wonderful, medium sized training rooms. All three of our rooms have new double interactive screens which can be used for wireless presentation and Microsoft teams calls.

    Smaller Rooms

    Rooms 3 & 4

    Room 3 and 4 are two of our smaller, resourceful training rooms. In both rooms there is a computer and presentation screens with Microsoft teams capabilities. Rooms 3 and 4 can be merged into a larger room (Suite A).

    Room 1 is our IT room within the centre. This room has 8 PC stations. There is also a portable screen within the room which can be used for Microsoft team calls and presentations.

    Skills Labs 14 and 15 are our superb clinical education training rooms which can be used for various clinical scenarios.
