Older People’s Mental Health Liaison Team
The team is a specialist group of skilled and experienced mental health practitioners who aim to monitor, support and improve the experience of older adults with mental health issues, such as dementia, who are admitted to Walsall Manor Hospital.
Members of the team include clinical nurse specialists and a psychiatrist.
The service operates 7 days a week between 8.30am – 4.30pm
Out of hours cover is provided via both the younger adults team (bleep 8321, internal staff use only) or via the Dorothy Pattison Hospital on 01922 607000.
Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays are covered for emergencies only (available via bleep 2037, internal staff use only)
