Hospital Sterilisation Disinfection Unit (HSDU)

The HSDU department provides disinfection, sterilisation services and clinical supplies to theatre departments, clinics and wards within Walsall Manor Hospital and the surrounding area.
The team is trained in accordance with national guidance in sterilisation and provides a variety of clinical and surgical instrumentation, polyware and dressings.
The HSDU operates to a ISO9001:2008 certification.
The service operates 7 days a week, 7am – 8pm.
