Fracture Clinic

Both the fracture clinic and the plaster room are located on hospital route 236 and take referrals from both A&E and GPs.

The service also follows up on post-operative trauma patients who have received surgery on the trauma ward. There is a team of dedicated nurses including a senior staff nurse and two plaster practitioners. The service also has a team of specialist consultants who look after patients who have received trauma to an upper or lower limb, managing their care until discharge.
