The NHS has launched a national review of paediatric audiology services across England to ensure high-quality care for all children. This review, known as the Paediatric Hearing Services Improvement Programme, aims to identify areas for improvement in audiology services and to confirm children are receiving the best possible support.
We are pleased to report that none of the paediatric audiology services in the Black Country are under review. This means that all local services, including those based at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust met quality standards in a recent assessment.
If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s hearing care, you can continue to reach out to PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) or use the usual contact channels to speak with a member of our paediatric audiology team.
