Walsall’s Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is keen to hear about mums’ experiences of feeding their babies and the support they received, as National Breastfeeding Week draws to a close.
The group helped to develop an infant feeding survey and this is running until next Monday 3 July with the results being discussed at the MVP’s next meeting on Friday 7 July.
Samantha Thompson, Chair, said: “We want to have a final push over the weekend and are asking as many people who have had experience of infant feeding to fill it in as possible – whatever their perspective. It’s actually just as important to get dads’ views as mums’ views, and those of wider family members.
“The feedback we have is vital as it’s the best evidence we can gather to enhance or improve the services offered through Walsall healthcare NHS Trust.”
The survey can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/WalsallFeedingSurvey.
The MVP’s next meeting is at the Nash Dom Community Hub, between 1pm and 2.30pm. Results from the survey will be the focus along with details of upcoming projects such as induction of labour. The meeting is also an opportunity to hear any general feedback that families would like to bring.
Anyone who wants to go along is asked to confirm their attendance via the following link: https://bit.ly/WalsallMVPMeetingJuly2023 For those unable to attend, feedback can also be shared via the contact us form MVP Information and Consent Form (office.com) or anonymously via email at walsall.mvp@nhs.net
