It’s eyes down for bingo with a twist as Walsall Healthcare’s Well Wishers charity keeps its Kelly’s Eye on a fun fundraiser later this month.
The um Bongo a Bingo event is set for Rushall Labour Club on Friday 19 May with traditional bingo, dance-offs, prizes to be won – including top prize of a lovely weekend away – and plenty of audience participation on the cards.
With support from the Fundraising Team, Kimberley Aplin, Fundraising Support Officer, has organised the evening and said guests are in for a treat.
“What better way to let your hair down after a busy week at work than coming to um Bongo a Bingo,” she said.
“It’s a great excuse to switch off, kick back and relax with friends or colleagues. And you’ll be raising money at the same time.”
Kimberley is compering for the evening, along with Ben Malpass, Digital Communications Assistant at Walsall Healthcare.
“We’re all set for a night of laughs,” Ben added.
Tickets are on sale now from the Fundraising Hub in the main atrium at Walsall Manor Hospital and cost just £12 to include buffet and bingo card dabber. Doors open at 7pm with the bingo getting underway at 8pm and the event is for 16s and over only.
Well Wishers raises money for items above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide and focuses on enhancing services to improve patients’ experience.
