Walsall’s Saddlers Vaccination Centre is extending its opening hours over the Christmas period to give people even more opportunities to take up their COVID-19 jabs.
The centre will open from 7.30am until 10pm from today (Monday 20 December) until this Thursday 23 December. On Christmas Eve it will open from 7.30am until 8pm.
It will be closed all day on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and will open up again between 7.30am and 10pm daily from Monday 27 December to Thursday 30 December. New Year’s Eve’s opening hours will be 7.30am until 8pm.
The centre will start 2022 by opening 7.30am until 8pm on New Year’s Day and Sunday 2 January and will be open from 7.30am until 10pm on Bank Holiday Monday 3 January.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust’s Director of Nursing Lisa Carroll said: “Whether you need your booster vaccination or are coming to us to have your first dose you will be warmly welcomed at the Saddlers Vaccination Centre.
“A huge thank you to all the staff who are helping us to protect as many communities as possible by supporting the vaccination effort. Many are sacrificing their own family time over the festive period to help us offer longer opening hours and we are extremely grateful to them for doing so.”
