Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (Arabic: ุฅูู†ูŽู‘ุง ู„ูู„ูŽู‘ูฐู‡ู ูˆูŽุฅูู†ูŽู‘ุง ุฅูู„ูŽูŠู’ู‡ู ุฑูŽุงุฌูุนููˆู†ูŽโ€Ž, สพinnฤ li-llฤhi wa-สพinna สพilayhi rฤjiสฟลซna) is a phrase mentioned in verse 2:156[a] of the Qur'an meaning "Verily we belong to Allah (God), and verily to Him do we return."[1] The phrase is commonly recited by Muslims when a person experiences a tragedy in life, especially upon hearing news that a person has died. I did not know you but as a sister of faith you have taken a risk to help others and I pray that your children are looked after by the almighty, may your family have sabar( patience). I know that this time will be so difficult for them but knowing that Allah recalled you whilst you were working on a noble path will surely grant you a place in heaven, which we all pray for as Muslims .So many muslim medical staff as well as non muslim- have lost their lives continuing to save lives in the UK, our home our community - I hope people respect the hard work of the NHS and care staff by staying at home. May You you reach the highest rank in heaven. Prayers from a very very touched person in Nottingham x
